Very nice Santa Claus — well, my even nicer wife and her parents — got me an early Xmas present: a brand new kayak. I got it early because I will need it in The Chill, Infiterra Sports‘ early December adventure race. My friend Gina and I went to Huron Meadows Metropark yesterday to launch the boat for the first time and to scout the location of the race.

Here is a video of that occasion. The weather was far superior to what we had last year around this time.
